A household name in Portugal and the oldest fish cannery in operation in the world, Ramirez was started in 1853 by Sebastian Ramirez. Today it is run by the 5th generation of the Ramirez family. Located in Matosinhos, in the northern Porto district of Portugal, they are best known for premium preserved tuna and sardines.
