About Framroze Deli

F.D. Mehta, the namesake for Framroze Deli, is the grandfather of the current owners. In the early and mid-20th century, Framroze set up a variety of food businesses in Mumbai, including a gourmet store, and pasta and chocolate factories, paving the way for his children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren, to continue his legacy with a dynamic food import company based in Mumbai's historic Crawford Market since 1963.

We have collaborated with some of our favourite international speciality food brands, and local artisan producers to bring together a unique, well-curated range of products and make them easily accessible to you. Most of these brands are also family-run businesses, like ours, that have been passing on recipes and techniques from one generation to the next, ensuring traditional, consistent, and delicious results.

One of Framroze’s great grandchildren is a chef, so not only do we offer incredible ingredients but we also share his recipes and ideas on how to make the most of them (Framroze Deli Test Kitchen). At the end of the day, we just want you, your friends, and your family to gather around the table and have a beautiful meal together. That's what life is all about.
