For the last 50 years, the Petrucci family has been carrying on the tradition handed down from father to son to produce the finest sheep milk Pecorino cheese. The historic Amatrice Dairy is located in Amatrice Village, Rieti, Central Italy. The region’s cuisine is best known for Pasta Alla Gricia and Pasta Amatriciana, both of which get their characteristic flavour from Pecorino cheese.
